Programs
Through consultation with stakeholders, OMDC has designed a series of programs to provide Ontario’s cultural entrepreneurs from the book and magazine publishing, film and television production, sound recording and interactive digital media content production industries with the opportunity to grow their businesses. Program strands include:
- Content and Marketing FundsContent and Marketing Funds provide financial and strategic support to assist in the creation and marketing of new content projects in order to accelerate the growth of Ontario companies.
- Domestic Markets and EventsDomestic Markets and Events supported by OMDC.
- Industry Development Program
- Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund
- OMDC Export FundThe OMDC Export Fund provides funding to Ontario companies to pursue export development activities including market event attendance and targeted sales trips.
- Trillium Book AwardThe Trillium Book Award established by the Ontario government in 1987 recognizes excellence, supports marketing and fosters increased public awareness of the quality and diversity of Ontario writers and writing.
